Hi
If you hear Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) from any reputed company, they are all Hoax. Beware they will lie to that your Instrument(TV/Fridge/AC/Washing Machine/Computers etc.) is in total failure and the repairing estimate will cost you more than the value of the machine.
And they would insist you sign up an AMC for a specific no of years and draw your money and they will set right your machine and make you believe that you have cheated the company and also got warranty for some more period you have signed for the AMC.
Actually it is not.
Your Instrument will have a very small failure like the fuse gone or some capacitors blown due to power fluctuations. You immediately call the authorized service men to repair it.
He will not attend the problem and raise a very small bill for this work, he will have target to cover as much AMC's as possible. So he will lie that there is major problem in the instrument and he would insist to sign a AMC and then he would remove some parts that he said it will cost you and replace the same with new one and make you believe that he done right to you cheating the company.
The parts like circuit boards are inside the machine, they need little dusting and they will look new. He will take this parts to the next customer and say the same thing and book an another AMC. And he will replace your parts for them and this goes on and on.
If Some one want to know how I found this, I will post you in this blog .

Cheap and Good 5.1 Surround Sound Solution
Hi
There are lot of 5.1 speakers are available for home theatre use. But we can build it from our own collection of old equipments speakers.
My home theatre solution consists of a Good 5.1 audio output DVD player, A Sony VCD Hi fi system, Pioneer Amplifier and LG Sub woofer.
Check for Good DVD player with the following options
In Audio
5.1 Dolby Digital Decoder
5.1 dts Decoder
5.1 Dolby Pro logic II Decoder
In Video
Progressive component output
DivX playback capability.
My DVD player is Mitashi DivX 999 consist all the above said features, which you wont find all this in popular brands except one Onida DVD player.
I have connected the front L & R audio to my Sony VCD Hi-fi system and the rear L & R to the Pioneer Amplifier. The Centre channel is connected to the TV using a single RCA to Double RCA cable and finally the LG Sub Woofer.
I have fine tuned the audio using dts sampler disk and with dts demo available in Radio Kannel web site
This Setup produced astounding result that I haven't experienced in any of the 5.1 speaker packages, not even with the Sony AV receiver.
I spent only Rs 4,000/- for the DVD Player and Rs. 1,500/- LG sub woofer, The LG Sub woofer comes free with the select LG TV and I bought this from a dealer separately.
